Fishing Update – 2017 Week 7 (July 30 – August 5, 2017)

Weather was flat and almost no rain. Warmest temperatures of the season with a couple of bright sunny days.

Halibut this week were large in size and number this week. Likewise the Silvers are getting huge. Most boats limited on Silvers daily. The staff were kept busy until late every night and the generators and freezers were only shut down on Monday night. Even with the increased cooling capacity of 33% the freezers could barely keep up.

Reservations are filling quickly for next year so call now to get in on all the action. Below are some guest comments from the last few weeks. See you “reel” soon, Mark

“It is very difficult to say what part of the week was most enjoyed, but using a very well equipped boat out on crystal clear water fishing for salmon and halibut on a full stomach and actually catching fish was one great feeling.”
– Jim F.

“The fishing was amazing also, we’ve never done that kind of fishing before it’s way different than what we’re used to but we definitely couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was quite an eye opener to pull in the Huge Halibut and large Salmon, the big Silvers put up an amazing fight … You were the best Hosts we could have asked for, and all your staff was amazing, very friendly and very helpful. I’m hoping I can get all my boys up there after all their schooling, they love that kind of outdoor sports and I know they would definitely love this.”
– Garth & Dale T.

“The most unbelievable trip of my life. I want to thank you for all the hard work that was involved to make this experience one that Gary and I will never forget. There was not one thing either of us could think of that would have made this any more wonderful. The food, the great fishing, the awesome boat –Fantastic! Friends from Missouri are making plans for a trip to Doc Warner next summer.”
– Mike B.

“Doc staff were super responsive and friendly.”
– Anne G.

“This was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Perhaps we can do it again one day.”
– Tim P.
