Silvers and more Silvers. We have started into our fall pattern of weather now. The temperatures have dropped a couple of degrees and the rain is more frequent. Tides this last week were larger again so the halibut fishing was slower. Those who were consistent with even the smaller fish still filled boxes readily.

On Thursday we had multiple boats limit on silvers. The first actually limited on halibut and silvers and was back to the dock by 11:30 AM. We continue to pick up a few Kings each week as well. Silvers this year continue to be in deep water but shallow in the water column.

We have also seen a small brown bear in camp a couple of days this week. For those thinking about booking next year, we have already passed the halfway point in guest count. Those looking for the best deal will find the “book early and get this year’s pricing for next year” to be the best deal.
