We sat in one spot and caught four halibut over 30 pounds in 45 minutes. We also saw about fifty sea otters. We stopped and they would pop out of the water and look around. You can catch your own boat real easy with the down ripper. I caught a 13 pound salmon today.

Today, Ken experienced the difference between landing a 20-pound halibut and a 100-pound halibut. As he struggled to get his halibut up into the boat he said, “ Barb, this sure as heck ain’t no 20 pounder”.
