Salmon Balls Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 1 (1-pound) can salmon
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 3 tsp grated onion
- 1 tsp prepared horseradish
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/4 tsp salt
- chopped pecans or walnuts
- chopped olives (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Drain and clean, as needed, a can of salmon. Combine cream cheese, salmon, lemon juice, grated onion, horseradish, liquid smoke, and salt. Mix carefully to a smooth consistency and form into balls. Roll balls in finely chopped nuts, or roll in chopped olives. Refrigerate for several hours before serving. These balls can be successfully frozen.
