I think my favorite experience was the 1st time I caught a bigger fish than my husband, or perhaps it was the 2nd time! Ha. He would say his was the day he landed (with my help) his 125 lb halibut. I still remember the look on his face when he had to hand me the pole so he could get the gaff and bring the fish in. He was so afraid I would let go and lose his fish. What fun! We first visited Doc Warners 5 years ago and we were ‘hooked’. 

We have been back every year since. And each and every year has been better than the year before. We add on a couple of extra days each time to see a different part of Alaska. We have been to Juneau, Sitka, Anchorage, Valdez, Gustavus, and last year Ketchikan. Doc has the best travel agent around, Peggy, whose wonderful ideas have added even more to our fishing trip. The countdown app on our iphone counts down the month, days, and minutes to our next trip. Can’t wait to hear Fish On! ……Denise
