Doc Warner’s is spotlighted by Zion’s Bank on KSL radio. Read the text!

We had the time of our lives at Doc Warner’s. The whole experience completely exceeded our expectations. The fishing as well as the catching was excellent. On two different occasions during the week, we had identical experiences with what we chose to call “patient fish.” When four people are fishing from a boat, lines sometimes were tangled. Though these were temporary frustrations, we were twice rewarded with fish that were patient enough to wait to be landed while we were untangling multiple lines. All in all, an amusing and a comical experience.

Thanks for providing us with an unforgettable adventure!

Just returned from a GREAT trip. Weather was rainy but the catching was exciting. Silvers from 14lbs and many at 10 to 12 lbs. One day at Mary’s caught 23 Halibut to keep 4. Wales all around us. WOW!!

Hi. I wanted to write and thank you for a fantastic week fishing at you lodge. I wanted to write directly to Mark, his wife and family and all of the staff at Doc Warners for a wonderful experience and thank him and them.

Dear Mark, Christina, Dee and all Doc Warner’s Staff, Where to begin? Thank you all so much for making our Alaska fishing experience – my first – so wonderful. We had such a great time and are full of remarkable memories to share with friends and family. Your entire operation is top notch and only exceeded by your hospitality and helpfulness. We’ll think of you all often – until we meet again.

Doc Warner’s is a really fun place. It is clean and there is a strong family-type atmosphere. We made some great new friends as well. Oh, did I mention the whales? We saw them, and not just a few. It seemed like hundreds. They were everywhere. And, the fishing was wonderful. Catching halibut was a lot easier that when I fished off Homer. Perhaps my biggest surprise was how good the salmon tasted. Wow!

We are home safe and sound with an overflowing freezer full of fish. We can’t begin to put into words what our time up there with all of you meant to the 3 of us. Friends were made and lots of memories also. Thank you again.

Most important reason, Slightly paraphrased, being there with my son, & the attitude and friendliness of staff, patience and helpfulness we received.

I don’t need to fill out the end of week survey. I can tell you right now. This is the second best vacation I have ever had…the first was in 2004 (his first time to Doc’s).
