The one that got away – the monster.
Josh had already landed his 94 pounder. Suddenly his herring was hit again. It hit soft then started to strip line. When he finally reeled it up, it was a cod that had been hammered by something…something bigger.
1 minute later Jon was trying to take a video of a whale when his pole started stripping line. After thirty seconds of line stripping, it got away.
Lastly, a minute later the chumbag on the anchor was ripped from it’s zip ties and the anchor was dislodged.
We never saw the monster, but we plan to go back tomorrow to find him.
