It was Wednesday and we had yet to catch our limit of salmon.
So we decided today we would try to catch our limit (if possible) before stopping to fish for halibut. Mid-day our motor alarm sounded so we were forced to shut it off and wait for help. Since we were within a few hundred yards of where on Monday we caught a 75 pound halibut, we restarted the motor and puttered to the general area to halibut fish while waiting for the chase boat.
Within 20 minutes we caught a 74 pound halibut and just finished bringing it in when help arrived. The staff had us back salmon fishing in no time and we managed to catch our limit!
What a great day of fishing that turned out to be!
